The Almost Home Apartments were designed to provide housing for both Almost Home alums as well as single mothers in the community. Transitional housing is designed for teen mothers ages 12-19, however not all young women are ready for full independence when they leave our program. In order to provide an extra stepping stone to full independence the Almost Home apartment building was created. The Almost Home Apartments are available to single mothers (ages 18 +) who meet the income requirements for Section 8. Transitional Living Program alumni are given preference over other applicants. All apartments include: two bedrooms, one full bath, kitchen, living/dining area and washer/dryer in unit. The apartments are an ideal intermediate step on the path to fully independent living.
If you are interested in learning more about the apartments please call 314.771.4663 and ask to speak to Ms. Clay.
