“Molly” moved into the Almost Home apartments for single mothers in 2004. Her then-father of her child, was abusive and threatening. Through the support she received from the Almost Home counselors, she was able to gain the courage to end that relationship. She started dating a new, very supportive young man. Through our encouragement, she got a job as a bank teller and was recently promoted to a Loan Processor.
