Here Comes Jasmine!

When Jasmine came to Almost Home, she jumped right in and focused on addressing her personal barriers. This included earning her high school diploma. She is thrilled to graduate and can’t wait to start her first job and phlebotomy school this summer. She knows this huge step means she and her daughter will have a better future. Thank you for investing in Jasmine and giving her a new path for success!

Remember Kalynn?

Remember Kalynn? She moved into her first apartment and got a job working for BJC last year. She was just promoted to work in the Radiology department! She is studying to be a Radiology Technician and is on her way to a great career. Kalynn, Ky’ra, and Kiya are all thriving. Thank you for investing in their future!

Marshawn and Marquan’s mom rocks!

Marqetta gets up at 4:15am every day, because she wants to create a better future for Marshawn and Marquan! And she’s doing exactly that. In May, she graduated with her high school diploma! She’s also pursuing a trade certification, and is on track to move into her own apartment this summer. We’re so proud of Marshawn and Marquan’s mom!

Alex is creating a better future for CJ!

Alex came to Almost Home determined to create a better life for her son CJ. She’s enrolled in cosmetology school,  working as a waitress, and in her free time she’s studying business online, preparing to own a salon one day! On top of all that, she paid off her debt, opened a bank account, and is meeting her savings goal each month. We’re proud of her hard work and progress!

Way to go, Kalynn!

Kalynn hit the ground running when she arrived at Almost Home. Now she’s employed at BJC, and she was accepted into St. Louis Community College’s EMT program, where she’ll begin this summer!

Congratulations

Ta’Zja got her high school diploma in April, but she went on to earn a Customer Service and Microsoft Office Certification from St. Louis Community College and started a new job this spring.
