Kalynn
Kalynn hit the ground running when she arrived at Almost Home in September 2016. Already a mother of two beautiful girls, she knew she needed to make some changes to create a better life for Makiya and Ky’ra. She found a full-time job almost immediately at Advance Auto Parts, and was accepted into St. Louis Community College’s EMT program soon after! And then even more good news: a full-time job offer at Barnes Jewish Healthcare, which will help pay tuition in the EMT program! Awesome changes have been happening since Kalynn came to Almost Home. For the first time in her life, Kalynn is putting money into a savings account. She is on track to move into the Almost Home apartments in April, and is putting away money to purchase a car so that she can get herself and her girls to work and school more efficiently. Her determination to change the future is paying off in big ways!
