Tyiesha

Tyiesha had a baby when she turned 15 and was bouncing from house to house before coming to Almost Home. Living in stable housing allowed her to enroll her daughter in preschool and graduate from Job Corps as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She found a job and was eventually promoted to Activities Director. Tyiesha moved to the Almost Home rent-subsidized apartments and is now looking forward to buying her own home. Her daughter is currently enrolled in a Chinese Language Immersion school and will have a completely different future thanks to the help of Almost Home and her mom’s hard work to create a different life for them.
